Professional photographer shoots mainly commercial, corporate and travel photography. Started shooting in 1992 when working as Yogyakarta-based correspondent for Hai Magazine, covering many kind of assignments including motorsports, stage performance and showbiz. Initiated shooting model and fashion since 1996 as semi-pro photographer.
Formal education background is geology, studied in Department of Geological Engineering, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. After graduation, worked as field engineer in Schlumberger, a multinational oilfield services company, based in Vung Tau, Vietnam and Alexandria, Egypt in 2001, both onshore and offshore.
Started full-time professional photography in 2002, formally based in Yogyakarta since 2009, with extensive travelling to do assignments in Jakarta, Surabaya and Bali.
Also known as founder and administrator of web-based photography community Fotografer.net (www.fotografer.net), the biggest in South-East Asia region with over 270,000 members.
